The Driver Verifier Manager tool verifies the Msnfsflt.sys file as "Unsigned" when you run the tool to detect the Msnfsflt.sys file on a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You are running a Windows Unified Data Storage Server 2003-based computer or a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer.
  • You run the Driver Verifier Manager tool (Verifier.exe) to detect the Microsoft Services for NFS Filter driver (Msnfsflt.sys). The Driver Verifier Manager tool is configured to use the default settings.
In this scenario, the Driver Verifier Manager tool verifies the Msnfsflt.sys file as �Unsigned� even though the Msnfsflt.sys file is a Microsoft product.
