FIX: Event ID 1000 occurs when you try to start a 32-bit SNL receiver process on a computer that is running the 64-bit version of BizTalk Server 2006 R2

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. On a computer that is running the 64-bit version of Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, you try to start a 32-bit SWIFTNet Link (SNL) receiver process (Snlreceiver.exe) by using the following command:
snlreceiver -SagMessagePartner <Server MessagePartnerName for Interact SnF> -AdapterMode <FileAct | Interact>
In this scenario, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
Event ID: 1000
Event Source: .NET Runtime 2.0
Description:
Faulting application snlreceiver.exe, version 2.3.2514.0, stamp 478e3e05, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.2.3790.4062, stamp 4626467c, debug? 0, fault address 0x00022366.

Resolution

Hotfix information

You must have the following installed to apply this hotfix:
  • Microsoft BizTalk FileAct and InterAct Adapters for SWIFT 2.3
  • BizTalk Server 2006 R2
