A Windows Server 2003-based computer may restart randomly when you set the System Failure option or you may receive an error message when you set the "Disable automatic restart on system failure" option

Symptoms

Consider the following scenarios.

Scenario 1

On a Windows Server 2003-based computer that has a McAfee product installed, you set the System Failure option to Automatically restart. In this scenario, the computer may restart randomly.

Scenario 2

On a Windows Server 2003-based computer that has a McAfee product installed, you set the Disable automatic restart on system failure option. In this scenario, you may receive one of the following error messages:
STOP 0x0000000A (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
STOP 0x00000019 (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
BAD_POOL_HEADER

Cause

This problem may occur because of the Mfehidk.sys file.
