Result

Open an existing solution in Visual Studio 2005 and then open a number of Code and Form Designer documents.

Cause

You can only see the last document opened in the document window. All other open documents are not displayed.

Resolution

The option to reuse the current document window has been enabled under Tools -> Options.

More information

1.On the Tools menu, click Options.
2.Expand the Environment node and then select Documents.
3.Uncheck the Reuse current document window option.
4.Click OK to close the Options dialog box.

Disclaimer

If editing changes have been made but not saved to the open document, opening another document will result in multiple documents being available.
