Symptoms

Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 Phone Edition may crash when it uses the release version of Microsoft Exchange 2007 to download call logs.

Note This problem does not occur if you have installed Exchange 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1).

Cause

This problem occurs because the format of the Subscription ID was changed in the release version of Exchange 2007.

Resolution

To resolve this problem, intall the Communicator 2007 Phone Edition update rollup package that is dated December 17, 2007.
