The telephone numbers of an Outlook contact that are added to Communicator 2007 Phone Edition are not downloaded if the contact does not have an instant messaging (IM) address

Contacts that are added to Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 Phone Edition are indexed by using the instant messaging (IM) address. If the contact, such as a Microsoft Outlook contact, does not have an IM address, the telephone numbers are not downloaded to Communicator 2007 Phone Edition.
