FIX: Error messages may be logged when you use BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.0 or for RosettaNet 3.5

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You install Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 and BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.0.
  • Or, you install Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5.
When you use Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.0 or for RosettaNet 3.5, error messages that resemble the following may be logged in the Application log.

Resolution

Hotfix information

There are two versions of this hotfix:
  • BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.0
  • BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Prerequisites

You must have Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 and BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.0 installed to apply the RosettaNet 3.0 hotfix. You must also apply hotfix KB922821 before you apply the RosettaNet 3.0 hotfix. You must have Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.5 installed to apply the RosettaNet 3.5 hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must restart the BizTalk host instances.

Hotfix replacement information

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.
