FIX: Error message when you try to import DTD schemas into a BizTalk project in BizTalk Server 2006 R2: "There were some errors generated during schema generation"

Symptoms

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, when you try to import document type definition (DTD) schemas into a BizTalk project by using the Add Generated Items Wizard, you may receive the following error message:
There were some errors generated during schema generation. Go to task list to view the errors. Task list may be filtered, enable showing of all tasklist items to see schema generation errors.
Additionally, the schema cannot be imported.

You may see the following error message in the task list instead:
Normal User-defined incomplete Error parsing DTD:Value cannot be null.
Parameter name: name

Hotfix information

More information

You may have already installed the DTD import functionality by running the following script file:
Drive\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006\SDK\Utilities\Schema Generator\InstallDTD.vbs
In this case, you must first delete the Microsoft.BizTalk.DTDToXSDGenerator.dll file from the following folder:
Drive\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006\Developer Tools\Schema Editor Extensions
After you apply this hotfix, you must rerun the following script file:
Drive\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006\SDK\Utilities\Schema Generator\InstallDTD.vbs
This script file registers and copies the new Microsoft.BizTalk.DTDToXSDGenerator.dll file.
