Introduction

This article describes the Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 hotfix package that is dated October 1, 2007. This hotfix package fixes certain issues in ISA Server 2004. This hotfix package also resolves an issue in which the Microsoft Firewall service may randomly stop responding. This problem has not been documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article.

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, services that are related to ISA Server 2004 automatically restart after you apply this hotfix.
