You experience application performance issues after you install the update from security bulletin MS07-043 on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP Professional x64 Edition

After you install the update from security bulletin MS07-043, you experience performance issues when you run applications that use the Oleaut32.dll file or the Asycfilt.dll file. For example, you experience slower performance than expected when certain operations are performed in Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services. This problem occurs on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP Professional x64 Edition.

This issue occurs because the Oleaut32.dll file and the Asycfilt.dll file do not include certain compiler optimizations.
