FIX: BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007 incorrectly allows for messages that contain two decimal places when ISK is the currency code to be processed

On September 22, 2007, the Society for the Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) organization changed the Iceland Krona (ISK) currency code from allowing for two decimal places to allowing for zero decimal places. Therefore, if a message contains two decimal places when ISK is the currency code, Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007 should recognize the message as invalid, and then reject the message. However, BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2007 incorrectly allows for messages that contain two decimal places when ISK is the currency code to be processed.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

Restart information

You have to restart the Internet Information Services (IIS) service and the BizTalk Host Instance service. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.

You do not have to change the registry.

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.

File information

This hotfix contains only those files that are required to correct the issues that this article lists. This hotfix may not contain all the files that you must have to fully update a product to the latest build.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. To apply this hotfix, extract the Readme.txt file from the package, and then follow the steps that the Readme.txt file describes.

The new policy update affects all the message types in which the message contains a currency or contains a combination of a currency and an amount. The hotfix updates the validation policies for all message types.
