FIX: Error message when you use the BTAHL72XMLSendPipeline send pipeline to generate a 2.XML message in the BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 2.0: "Message is not a 2.Xml document"

Symptoms

In the Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for HL7 2.0, you receive an error message that resembles the following in the Application log in Event Viewer:
There was a failure executing the send pipeline: "BTAHL72XMLPipelines.BTAHL72XMLSendPipeline, BTAHL72XMLPipelines,
Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken= token"
Source: "BTAHL7 2.Xml Assembler" Send Port: "send port"
URI: "URI" Reason: Message is not a 2.Xml document
This problem occurs when you use the BTAHL72XMLSendPipeline send pipeline to generate a 2.XML message.

Resolution

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
