Cause

When you click an entity to open a new window, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 calls a function that determines the window size. For example, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 calls this function when you open a new window for a note or for a report. This function is generated by the WindowInformation.aspx page. If anonymous access is enabled for this page, Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 fails because Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 expects integrated Windows authentication on all .aspx pages.

  4. On the File Security tab, click Edit in the Authentication and access control area.
  5. Click to clear the Enable anonymous access check box, click to select the Integrated Windows authentication check box, and then click OK two times.
