The computer crashes, and you receive a "Stop 0x0000003b" error message after you enable large image-based page files in Windows Server 2003

Symptoms

You enable large image-based page files for kernel drivers on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server. However, the computer crashes. You receive a Stop error message that resembles the following:
Stop 0x0000003b (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)

Cause

This problem occurs in scenarios in which the kernel memory manager incorrectly frees the INIT section of the drivers two times.

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
