Symptoms

The Use Single Sign-On check box is not available as expected in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2. This issue can occur when you configure the WCF-BasicHTTP transport type for a receive location.

For example, the Use Single Sign-On check box may not be available if you set the security mode to Message, and if you then set the message client credential type to UserName.

Workaround

To work around this issue, configure the Transport client credential type setting, and then configure the Security mode setting. For example, if you want to use the Message security mode together with the Use Single Sign-On setting, follow these steps:
  1. Create a receive port. Give this port a receive location that uses the WCF-BasicHTTP transport type. Then, click Configure.
  2. On the Security tab, click Transport in the Security mode box.
  3. On the Security tab, click Basic in the Transport client credential type box.
  4. Click to select the Use Single Sign-On check box.
  5. On the Security tab, click Message in the Security mode box.
  6. On the Security tab, click UserName or Certificate in the Message client credential type box.
