Error message when you run a quick campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0: "Quick Campaign could not be performed due to an error: 0x8004023b"

Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. In the Active Contacts view, you use the "For All Records on All Pages" feature to create a quick campaign. You create the quick campaign to build the member list for the campaign. Then, you run the quick campaign. In this scenario, you receive the following error message: Note You receive this error message in the Error Details field on the Quick Campaign page.

Additionally, you receive the following error message in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform trace:
