Symptoms

This hotfix rollup for Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications in Windows Server 2003 R2 fixes multiple problems and includes some previous hotfixes. This hotfix rollup contains the following previous hotfixes:
934110� An update is available for Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications in Windows Server 2003 R2 that addresses daylight saving time changes in 2007
933712� FIX: Error message when you try to run many "setuser" function calls at the same time on a computer that is running Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications in Windows Server 2003 R2: "Operation not permitted"
932701� FIX: Stop error message on a Windows Server 2003 R2-based computer that has Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications installed: "000000C2"
This hotfix rollup also fixes the following problems:
  • Multiple concurrent open and close function calls on a file handle introduce a race condition in the Psxdrv.sys file. This race condition may cause Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications in Windows Server 2003 R2 to crash.
  • Temporary files fill up the %WINDIR%\temp folder and the disk when you use Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications in Windows Server 2003 R2.

Hotfix information
