FIX: Internet Explorer 7 in Windows Vista starts to render a Web page before the handling of the "onload" event has finished

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You run Windows Internet Explorer 7 on a Windows Vista-based computer.
  • You enable protected mode in Internet Explorer 7.
  • You use the innerHTML property in Internet Explorer 7 to change the HTML content in an onload event.
In this scenario, Internet Explorer 7 starts to render the Web page before the handling of the onload event has finished.

Cause

This problem occurs because Internet Explorer 7 processes the onload event incorrectly on a Windows Vista-based computer when protected mode is enabled.
