Symptoms

After you manually complete a hard recovery operation to restore the database for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 from backup, you may receive the following error message:
JET_errSLVStreamingFileInUse -2231, 0xc80008b7

Cause

This issue may occur if the database location was changed after the backup set was created.
