Symptoms

When you open an e-mail message by using the Desktop Alert Notification feature, and then you click one of the following buttons, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 toolbar buttons are not in the correct state:
  • Reply
  • Reply All
  • Forward
For example, the reply e-mail message does not use the Track in CRM button state if the following conditions are true:
  • You click Reply, or you click Reply All.
  • The e-mail message is tracked in Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
If you click Forward, the Track in CRM button is enabled. However, the button functions exactly like the View in CRM button. If you click the button, the e-mail message that you are forwarding opens unexpectedly in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The View in CRM button functionality should not be enabled until the current e-mail message has been sent.
