You receive a message that states that your meeting request was declined when you use Entourage for Mac to send a recurring meeting request to an Exchange 2003 resource mailbox

You use a Microsoft Entourage for Mac client to send a recurring meeting request to a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 resource mailbox. Additionally, the resource mailbox is registered to use Microsoft Exchange Server Auto Accept Agent to process schedules automatically. In this situation, you receive a message that states that the meeting request was declined. This occurs even though the meeting request should be accepted. Additionally, the following event is logged on the computer on which Auto Accept Agent is installed:

This problem occurs because Microsoft Entourage for Mac cannot send valid location information to Exchange 2003. Therefore, Exchange 2003 automatically declines the meeting request.

Hotfix information

File information

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.

This hotfix does not resolve the issue that has already occurred. This hotfix only enables the LocaleID entry in the AutoAccept.config.xml file to be read.

The LocaleID entry is located in the <GlobalSettings> section of the AutoAccept.config.xml file. The entry resembles the following: Note LocaleID 1033 is for English-US.
