Resolution

This problem is corrected in an updated set of ADM and OPA files provided in the 2007 Office system Administrative Template files (ADM, ADMX, ADML) and Office Customization Tool version 2.0 packagTo download this package, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=92d8519a-e143-4aee-8f7a-e4bbaeba13e7&DisplayLang=en (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=92d8519a-e143-4aee-8f7a-e4bbaeba13e7&DisplayLang=en)
To correct this problem in the Office customization tool, follow these steps:
  1. Download and install the 2007 Office system Administrative Template files (ADM, ADMX, ADML) and Office Customization Tool version 2.0 package.
  2. When you are prompted during the installation, select an empty folder to extract the files.

Note One of the folders that are created in that location contains additional files and folders that replace the \Admin folder on the original installation source.
  3. Copy the \Admin folder from the folder to which the files are extracted to the original 2007 Office system installation source. When you are prompted to overwrite the existing files and folders, click Yes to all.
