Error message when you submit an InfoPath 2007 form: "Exception Message: Reference to undeclared entity 'nbsp'"

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

In Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007, you create a browser-enabled form template that is set to submit data by using e-mail.
You add a multiline text box to the form template and then publish the form template to the form server.

Note To set a text box as a multiline text box, see the "More information" section.
You open the form in a browser and then type text in the multiline text box.
The text that you type includes spaces.

In this scenario, you receive the following error message when you click Submit:

Exception Message: Reference to undeclared entity 'nbsp'

To work around this problem, use a rich text box instead of a multiline text box.
