To work around this problem, make sure that you have the default Sort Order selected for a site locale. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. On your Office SharePoint Server 2007 site, click Site Actions, and then click Site Settings.
  2. Click Regional settings in the Site Administration column.
  3. Select a Locale from the Locale list, select the first Sort Order in the Sort Order list, and then click OK.
