FIX: Event ID: 4099 may be logged when you process messages by using BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT version 2.3 or version 2.1


Symptoms

When you process messages by using Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT version 2.3 or version 2.1, warning events that resemble the following may be logged:

This problem occurs when both the following products are installed:
  • Service Pack 1 for BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT version 2.3 or version 2.1
  • Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2006

Resolution

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.

You must have BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2006 installed to apply this hotfix.

Workaround

To work around this problem, configure the account that you use to log on to the Receive BizTalk service to use the English (United States) regional settings. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Log on to the computer that is running BizTalk Server by using the account that you use to log on to the Receive BizTalk service.

    To determine the account that you use to log on to the Receive BizTalk service, follow theses steps:
    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
    2. Under Name, right-click Receive BizTalk, click Properties, and then click the Log On tab.
  2. Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK.
  3. On the Regional Options tab, click English (United States) under Standards and formats, and then click OK.
  4. Restart the Receive BizTalk service.
Notes
  • After you complete step 4, you may want to log on to the computer by using a maintenance account.
  • After you complete this workaround, other services or other applications may not behave as expected if the services or the applications use the account that you use to log on to the Receive BizTalk service.

More Information

This problem does not occur if the account that you use to log on to the Receive BizTalk service is configured to use the English (United States) regional settings. This problem occurs if the account is configured to use other regional settings. For example, this problem occurs if the account is configured to use the English (United Kingdom) regional settings.
