You cannot find a contact when you use a display name to query the contact when you use Outlook Web Access to access an Exchange Server 2003 mailbox

You use Microsoft Outlook Web Access to access a mailbox in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. When you use the display name of a contact to query the contact, you cannot find the contact.

For example, this behavior occurs when you use the following method to query a contact. In Outlook Web Access, you click Contact, and then you click Address Book. Then, in the Find names in box, you click Contact. You type the display name in the Display name box, and then you click Find. However, the contact does not appear.

Because of file dependencies, this hotfix requires Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, the Microsoft Exchange Information Store service and all its dependent services are automatically stopped and then restarted when you apply this hotfix.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time.
