FIX: After you deploy Exchange Server 2007 Cluster Continuous Replication on a clustered computer that is running Windows Server 2003, the new information is logged into the cluster log file too quickly

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You have a Windows Server 2003-based computer that is running in a clustered environment. After you deploy Exchange Server 2007 Cluster Continuous Replication on the computer, new information is logged into the cluster log file too quickly. The new information overwrites the existing information in the cluster log file, before you can use the existing information for troubleshooting.

Cause

The new information is not correctly filtered out. Therefore, the new information logged into the cluster log file is too excessive.

Resolution

Update information

The following files are available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:

Download the Windows Server 2003 package now.

Download the Windows Server 2003 for Itanium-based Systems package now.

Download the Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition package now.

Prerequisites

To apply this update, you must have Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installed on the computer. For more information about how to obtain the latest service pack for Windows Server 2003, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Restart requirement

You must restart the Cluster Service after you apply this update.
