This article discusses the availability of Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack.

To provide industry-standard compliance with the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) 2009 Standards Release Guide specification, Microsoft has released BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT (A4SWIFT) 2009 Message Pack. This new release provides the compatibility that is required for you to use the SWIFT standard that is scheduled to be imposed in October 2009.

Note Microsoft intends to release a new message pack for BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT each year to coincide with the annual updates to the SWIFT Standards Release Guide.

Overview

BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack includes the following features:

• The repackaging of all SWIFT FIN FF message types and of all business rules
• Updates to schemas and to business rules to make the schemas and the business rules fully compliant with the SWIFT 2009 certification requirements
• All the hotfixes that are related to schemas and to business rules but that are not superseded by the SWIFT 2009 certification requirements

BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2009 has no components other than schemas, business rules, and Microsoft Office InfoPath forms.

Important BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT Message Pack 2009 requires you to install Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.1 Service Pack 1 (SP1), as appropriate for the version of BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT that you have deployed. BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack is available in two downloads. Which download that you select depends on the version of BizTalk Server that you have installed.To use BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2009 Message Pack, you may have to install one or more of the following hotfixes. These hotfixes let BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT perform country code validation and currency code validation by referencing the database tables. This hotfix also provides support for the new SWIFT dual message types, MT202COV and MT205COV. Refer to the following tables to determine which hotfix you must download.

If you have Message Pack 2008 installed, select the appropriate hotfix from the following table, depending on your version of Microsoft BizTalk Server and BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT:
