Information about the MRP Exclusions Build window in Microsoft Dynamics GP

Use the MRP Exclusion List window to select the items that the MRP Exclusions Build window will process. To open the MPR Exclusion List window, click Transactions, point to Manufacturing, point to MRP, and then click Exclusions.

Use the MRP Exclusions Build window to update the items that appear in the MRP Exclusion List window. To open the MRP Exclusions Build window, click Tools, point to Utilities, point to Manufacturing, and then click MRP Exclusions Build.

You typically use the MRP Exclusions Build window after you import items to the Microsoft Dynamics GP tables. The MRP Exclusions Build process can clear the Include in planning check box for specific items in the Item Resource Planning Maintenance window. After the MRP Exclusions Build process is complete, verify that the Include in planning check box is appropriately selected or cleared for every item. To do this, click Cards, point to Inventory, and then click Item Resource Planning.
