The price for an item on a requisition is displayed as $0.00 in Requisition Management for Business Portal in Microsoft Dynamics GP

Symptoms

The price for an item on a requisition is displayed as $0.00 in the following products:
  • Requisition Management for Business Portal 3.0 in Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0
  • Requisition Management for Business Portal 2.5 in Microsoft Business Solutions - Great Plains 8.0
This issue occurs even though the Last Originating Cost field for the vendor displays a value other than $0.00 in the Item Vendors Maintenance window.

Cause

This issue may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
  • The Currency ID field is blank in the Item Vendors Maintenance window.
  • The Currency ID field does not contain the functional currency ID.
The Currency ID field in the Item Vendors Maintenance window must contain the functional currency ID. Requisition Management does not support multiple currencies.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, set the Currency ID field to the functional currency ID. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. On the Cards menu, point to
    Inventory, and then click Vendors.
  2. In the Item Vendors Maintenance window, click the item in the Item Number list.
  3. In the Vendor ID list, click the vendor.
  4. In the Currency ID list, click the functional currency ID.
  5. Click Save.
