Data is lost when you accept the default system mappings between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics GP in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector for Microsoft Dynamics GP

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

When you accept the default system mappings between Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics GP in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector for Microsoft Dynamics GP, data is lost.

Specifically, this problem occurs after you integrate a sales order in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and in Microsoft Dynamics GP by using the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector for Microsoft Dynamics GP. When you then populate some fields in the sales order in Microsoft Dynamics GP, these fields are not mapped to the corresponding fields in the sales order in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. When you update the integrated sales order in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the fields that are related to the unmapped fields of the sales order in Microsoft Dynamics GP are empty.
