The error message "HTTP 404 error - Resource not found" is garbled when you access Outlook Web Access in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and you are using a DBCS language

In an organization that uses Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, you access Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access. Additionally, you are using a Double Byte Character Set (DBCS) language. When you perform an action that triggers the "HTTP 404 error - Resource not found" error message, you find that this error message is garbled.

Prerequisites

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply the hotfix. However, the following services will be restarted, when you install the hotfix:

• Network News Transfer Protocol (NNTP)
• HTTP SSL
