The Form Assistant does not show the data when you create a follow-up activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

Symptoms

When you click Follow Up to create a follow-up activity for an activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, the Form Assistant does not show the data.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • The type of the Duration field is int.
  • The Requirement Level attribute of the Duration field is Business Required.
Note If you enabled platform tracing, the following error message is logged in the platform trace file:
MSCRM Application Error Report: Error: Display strings have not been set for the duration control.
Error Message: Display strings have not been set for the duration control.
