FIX: The Commerce Server 2007 Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager does not open and you may receive an error message after you create and register a custom culture

Symptoms

After you create and register a custom culture on a computer that has the Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager Client installed, the Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager does not open, and you may receive the following error message:
Customized cultures cannot be passed by LCID, only by name.

Hotfix information

Prerequisites

You must have Commerce Server 2007 installed before you apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must restart Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) after you apply this hotfix. To do this, click Start, click Run, type iisreset, and then click OK.

Hotfix replacement information

This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.
