More information

Microsoft has identified HotPatching compatibility issues with the following programs:
  • Proventia Desktop Agent
  • Bull Guard Suite v6
These security applications make it impossible to use HotPatching with user mode binaries. Additionally, it is likely that you will experience HotPatching compatibility issues with some software from Internet Security System (ISS).

By default, some packages do not have HotPatching turned on. You can decide to install these packages by using HotPatching based on the programs that are running on the computers in your organization.
