Error message in Outlook 2007 when you try to open an InfoPath 2007 form: "InfoPath cannot open the following file"

Symptoms

When you receive a Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 form in an e-mail message, and you try to open the form in Microsoft Outlook 2007, you receive the following error message:
InfoPath cannot open the following file: drive_letter:\path\user_name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.MSO\temporary_folder.tmp\file_name.xml.
The following form template for the form cannot be found: file:///drive_letter:\path\user_name\Local%20Settings\Application%20Data\Microsoft\InfoPath\Desinger2\temporary_name\manifest.xsf

Cause

This problem occurs when the form template that was used to create the form is not available. The form template was not sent in the e-mail message, or the form template was not published to a shared location.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, make sure that the form template has been published to a shared location. Alternatively, make sure that you include the form template with the InfoPath 2007 form in the same e-mail message.
