FIX: Error messages are logged in the Application log when you unpack a Commerce Server 2007 site to the root folder of the IIS Web site and then you try to access the SiteCacheRefresh.axd URL

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. You unpack a Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 site to the root folder of the Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Web site. You try to access the SiteCacheRefresh.axd URL from any of the user interfaces. In this scenario, the following error messages are logged in the Application log:
System.InvalidOperationException: There was an error generating the XML document. ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Instance validation error: '0' is not a valid value for System.Net.HttpStatusCode.

Additionally, you receive error messages that resemble the following when you use Commerce Server Staging (CSS) to access the SiteCacheRefresh.axd URL:

You must have Commerce Server 2007 installed before you apply this hotfix.

Restart requirement

You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, you must restart IIS after you apply this hotfix. To do this, click Start, click Run, type iisreset, and then click OK.
