Resolution

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. On the server that is running Microsoft Dynamics CRM, type http://localhost/Reports in the Address bar in Microsoft Internet Explorer, and then click Go to open Report Manager.

Note If you renamed the virtual directory for Report Manager when you installed Reporting Services, use the renamed virtual directory name instead of "Reports."
  2. Click Show Details.
  3. Click the icon in the Edit column next to the folder for your organization.
  4. Click Security, and then click New Role Assignment.
  5. On the "New Role Assignment" Web page, enter the value in the Group or user name box.

Note The value that you enter is the service account name for Microsoft ASP.NET.
    • For an English locale, type the following in the Group or user name box:
      NT Authority\Network Service
    • For a non-English locale, follow these steps:
      1. Open the Crm30svrsetup.log file by using Notepad.

      2. In Notepad, click Find on the Edit menu, type the following in the Find what box, and then click Find Next:
        ServerInstallInfo.AspNetServiceAccountName
      3. Note the value for this line, and then type the value in the Group or user name box.
  6. Click to select the Publisher for Microsoft CRM check box, and then click OK.
