FIX: You may receive a Scriptor component error message when you add the /3GB switch to the Boot.ini file on a Windows Server 2003 SP1-based computer that is running Commerce Server 2002 or Commerce Server 2007

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario. Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 or Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 is running on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based computer. You add the /3GB command-line switch to the Boot.ini file. In this scenario, you may receive a Scriptor component error message in the event log that resembles the following:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: Commerce Server 2002
Event Category: None
Event ID: 4104
Date: Date
Time: Time
User: N/A
Computer: ComputerName
Description: Pipeline Error: Component Execution failed for component [0xE] hr: 0x80020003 ProgID: Commerce.Scriptor.1 MscsExecute() failed. Script invocation failed. Member not found.
