Consider the following scenario. You open a Microsoft Office Access 2007 database. You change a setting in the Trust Center or in the Access Options dialog box. To apply the change, you must reopen the database. However, the database is not reopened automatically, and you do not receive a message that prompts you to reopen the database. In this scenario, the change is not applied. For example, if you change a macro setting in Access 2007 from Disable all macros with notification to Disable all macros without notification, the change is not applied until you close and then reopen the current database.

To resolve this behavior, manually close the database, and then reopen the database for the changes to take effect.
