- On the destination computer, click Start, click Run, type gpedit.msc in the Open box, and then click OK.
- In the Group Policy Object Editor Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in, expand Computer Configuration, expand Administrative Templates, expand Windows Components, and then click Windows Installer.
- In the right pane, double-click Disable Windows Installer.
- Click Disabled, and then click OK.
- On the File menu, click Exit to exit the Group Policy Object Editor MMC snap-in.
- Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open box, and then click OK.
- At the Command Prompt window, type gpupdate /force, and then press ENTER.
Note As soon as the Sybari Enterprise Manager DeploymentAgent program has successfully deployed, you may want to restore the Windows Installer Group Policy setting to its original configuration.
