Cause

This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
  • The appointment requires resources that are already scheduled for another appointment at the same time.
  • The Microsoft CRM Post Callout objects subscribe to the PostCreate callout event for appointments.
If these conditions are true, the problem occurs because the appointment is rolled back when the resources are unavailable. The PostCreate callout event cannot retrieve the information for the appointment because the appointment no longer exists.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 1. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
922815 Update Rollup 1 is available for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0

Note If you still receive the error messages after you install Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 1, verify that the Status Reason (statuscode) field was not removed from the Appointment form during form customization. If the field was removed, you must add the field back to the Appointment form. You can position the field anywhere on the form. The field does not have to be on the main tab.
