To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.
Method 1
- Click Start, click Run, type explorer.exe, and then click OK.
- Locate and then click the %windir%:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared folder, and then double-click CcApp.exe.
- Open Internet Explorer and check to see whether the secure Web site opens successfully. If the secure Web site does open successfully, make sure that the CcApp.exe program is enabled as a startup item by using the Msconfig.exe utility. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, and then click OK.
- On the Startup tab, click to select the ccApp check box in the Startup Item area.
Note If the ccApp check box is already selected, continue to Method 2. If the CcApp.exe program is not listed in the Msconfig.exe utility, create a shortcut to the file in the %windir%:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder. To do this, follow steps 4 to 11.
- Click Start, click Search, and then click All files and folders.
- In the All or part of the file name: box, type ccApp.exe.
- In the Look in list, click My Computer, and then click Search.
- In the list of found files, right-click the ccApp.exe file, point to Send To, and then click Desktop (create shortcut).
- Close all the open windows. You should now see the ccApp.exe shortcut on the desktop.
- Right-click the ccApp.exe shortcut on the desktop, and then click Copy.
- Right-click Start, and then click Open.
- Locate and then click the %windir%:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup folder, and then click Paste.
