You cannot manually delete a USB printer port in Windows Server 2003 or in Windows XP. This behavior is by design.

More information

The creation and deletion of USB printer ports is an automated process. To start the automated deletion process, you have to uninstall the USB printer. To do this, unplug the USB printer cable from the computer. The USB printer port is automatically deleted the next time that you start the computer.

Note Drivers for the USB printer are saved on the computer. Therefore, if you reconnect the printer, the driver is automatically loaded, and the USB printer port is re-created .
