Workaround

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
  1. In the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Web.config file, set the ISVIntegration attribute to None or to Web.

    After you change this attribute to None or to Web, customizations from the Isv.config.xml file are not introduced when you start the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 client for Outlook.
  2. Open the Isv.config.xml file in Notepad, and then delete the top-level element if it appears as follows.
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="windows-1252"?>
  3. Save the Isv.config.xml file.
