Symptoms

When you install Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 or Microsoft Commerce Server 2000 on a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows Server 2003, the installation may finish successfully. However, you may receive error messages after the installation finishes.

This behavior occurs because Commerce Server 2002 and Commerce Server 2000 are not supported on a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2003.
