When you set the locale ID (LCID) to 1033 in the U.S. English version of Microsoft Windows XP, the computer stops responding (hangs).

Cause

Specifically, the computer stops responding when the recognition engine tries to recognize Ink Serialized Format (ISF) files.

Workaround

To work around this problem, create a global analysis hint, and then set the TopInkBreaksOnly property on the AnalysisHint API to true.
