The Microsoft CRM 3.0 Client for Microsoft Office Outlook background synchronization of contacts causes the mouse cursor to flicker

During background synchronization of contacts from your Microsoft CRM Server using the Microsoft CRM 3.0 client for Microsoft Outlook causes the mouse cursor to flicker and Microsoft Outlook to become unusable . This is especially noticeable when a large number of contacts are synchronizing, such as after installation, data import, or data migration.

This is a known problem in Microsoft Office Outlook.

The error message received during Microsoft CRM 3.0 client for Outlook setup is a warning message and setup should complete. To correct this problem following setup, do the following:

• For Microsoft Office Systems 2003, install Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Service Pack 2. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
