You may receive an "Access is denied" error when you try to add printers to a Windows Server 2003 cluster

Symptoms

When you try to use the Add Printer Wizard to add new printers to a virtual server that is part of a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 cluster, you may receive the following error message:
Access is denied
Therefore, you cannot add printers to the Windows Server 2003 cluster.

Cause

This problem may occur if the printer drivers have the read-only (RO) bit set. For example, the problem occurs if the printer drivers are on a CD-ROM disc.

Service pack information
