FIX: Error message when a flat file parser parses a message that contains blank spaces in BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1: "The element 'MessageUserReference_108' has incomplete content"

View products that this article applies to.

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:
  • You are running Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
  • A message that contains blank spaces is sent to a flat file parser.
  • The parser parses the message. Then, the parser generates an XML message.
In this scenario, the blank spaces in the XML message may be lost. Additionally, you may receive the following MT191 error message:
<XmlValidationError ExceptionType="System.Xml.Schema.XmlSchemaException: The element 'MessageUserReference_108' has incomplete content. Expected 'Reference'. An error occurred at , (1, 807)." LineNumber="1" LinePosition="807" SchemaName="" Severity="Error"> <Message>The element 'MessageUserReference_108' has incomplete content. Expected 'Reference'. An error occurred at , (1, 807).</Message> </XmlValidationError>
